Aqua supports local and sustainability
The produce and ingredients we use to create our menu are sourced locally where possible, and we are serious about sustainability. We do what we can to reduce our packaging and waste, and all organic waste is sent to an off-site worm farm for composting.
We want to know where our food is from, how it got here, and we only choose products that are in line with this policy. That’s why we work with trusted local suppliers such as Pinenut Bakery and Haku Aotearoa New Zealand Kingfish as they not only underwrite this ethos, but also produce incredible foods.
Our meat and seafood dishes, we approach “nose-to-tail”. Craig and his kitchen brigade will make sure that the whole animal is used where possible, not just prized pieces, to minimise waste, celebrate food, and ensure that the animal is appreciated and given the respect that it deserves.
